Receiving a call

  1. Clients will call your company’s main number
  2. Calls will route to your phone either by direct extension or through ring groups
  3. Either pick up the handset to answer the call or hit the Answer function key (first key from the left side of the display/first key from the left under the display)
  4. When using a headset to answer the call hit the Answer function key (first key from the left side of the display/first key from the left under the display/green highlighted key with the image of a headset)

Forward a call to Voicemail

  1. Clients will call your company’s main number
  2. Calls will route to your phone either by direct extension or through ring groups
  3. Press the DND key (second key from the left under the display)

Call Forwarding

Call forwarding enables users to have their calls routed to the destination of their choosing. Please note that the Caller ID on the destination that is receiving the forward will display your company phone number.

Enabling Call Forward

  1. Dial *72
  2. Enter the phone number in which you would like your calls to be forwarded to and dial #

Disabling Call Forward

  1. Dial *73

To check whether Call Forwarding is enabled or disabled dial *74. If enabled the system will announce the phone number the calls are forwarding to. If disabled the system will beep and hang up the call.

Placing a call on hold

  1. Once the call is answered, press the round Hold key (receiver icon with pause symbol/first key from the left under the display) to place the call on hold and to play hold music to the caller. The line indicator will flash red
  2. To resume the call press the Hold key again

Transferring a call

There are two types of transfers. A normal transfer allows you to introduce the caller to the recipient of the transfer. A blind transfer immediately sends the call to the recipient of the transfer.

Normal transfer of an active call

  1. Press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key from the left under the screen)
  2. Dial the extension or external phone number you want to transfer to
  3. Press the Dial key (first key from the left under the display)
  4. Introduce the call to the recipient of the transfer
  5. To complete the transfer press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key to the left under the screen)

Blind transfer of an active call

  1. Press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key from the left under the screen)
  2. Press the More key (fourth key from the left under the display)
  3. Press the Blind transfer key (first key from the left under the display)
  4. Dial the extension or external phone number you want to transfer to
  5. Press the Dial key (first key from the left under the display)

Normal transfer of an on-hold call

  1. Press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key to the left under the screen)
  2. Dial the extension or external phone number you want to transfer to
  3. Press the Dial key (first key from the left under the display)
  4. Introduce the call to the recipient of the transfer
  5. To complete the transfer press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key to the left under the screen)

Blind transfer of an on-hold call

  1. Press the Transfer function key (round button with a receiver pointing to another/third key to the left under the screen)
  2. Press the More key (fourth key from the left under the display)
  3. Press the Blind transfer key (first key from the left under the display)
  4. Dial the extension or external phone number you want to transfer to
  5. Press the Dial key (first key from the left under the display)

Dialing an external number

  1. Dial the external phone number
  2. Pick up the hand-set to dial the call

Or

  1. Dial the external phone number
  2. Press the Dial key (second key from the left under the display)

Dialing an internal extension

  1. Dial the extension
  2. Pick up the hand-set to dial the call

Or

  1. Dial the external phone number
  2. Press the Dial key (second key from the left under the display)

Speakerphone use

  • Press the Speaker button to transfer the call audio from the handset to speakerphone

Headset use

  • Press the Headset button to transfer the call audio from the handset to the headset

Voicemail

Delivery to email

  • Already configured to your email

Text transcription

  • Voicemail speech-to-text included on the email 

Record your Voicemail name and greeting

  1. Dial *97
  2. Press Dial
  3. Input your voicemail password
  4. Press option 5to set your voicemail
    1. Press 1 to record greeting
    2. Press 2 to choose greeting (if you have multiple greetings)
    3. Press 3 to record your name
    4. Press 6 to change your voicemail password
    5. Press 0 to return to the main menu

Adding Contacts

  • Press the Home button (button with image of a house)
  • Press on the Directories setting
  • Select option 1 Contact Directory
  • Click on the Add button
  • Enter the information you wish inside the text fields
  • Click Save after you have entered all the desired information

Deleting Contacts

  • Press the Home button (button with image of a house)
  • Press on the Directories setting
  • Select option 1 Contact Directory
  • Hover over the contact you wish to delete
  • Press the Info button
  • Press the Delete button
  • A message will prompt you asking “Are sure you want to delete this contact” press the Yes button

Bringing an additional caller into your active call (3 callers on the line together)

  1. First you must be on an active call
  2. To bring in a second caller press the More key (fourth key from the left under the display)
  3. Press the Conf function key (first key from the left under the display)
  4. Dial the extension or external phone number you want to conference in, this puts the first caller on hold
  5. Press the More key (fourth key from the left under the display)
  6. Press the Conf function key (first key from the left under the display), to merge all 3 callers
  7. If you want to separate the calls press the Split function key (third key from the left under the display)
